Combining HP printing technology and Anoto technology, Anoto/HP are transforming the paper into the cheapest and still real-time data entry device. We are basically replacing a computer screen with standard paper!" By 2004, more than 100 billion forms will still be used by U.S. companies. The average cost per form printing is 5 cents, yet the processing of those forms (data entry, etc.) costs companies on average 90 cents per form. HP FAS will deliver less than one-third the cost of traditional forms processing and will reduce processing times from weeks to minutes. Vertical markets that may benefit most from this technology include banking/insurance, education, healthcare, manufacturing and organizations in the public sector.

The HP Forms Automation System consists of HP Digital Pen 200, HP Workflow Connect 200, the HP Transaction Pack 200 and HP LaserJet printers.
