How to Choose a Mobile Scanner?

DataMind has been selling Mobile Scanners since 1999. Here we explain how to choose a mobile or translation scanner?

  1. Do you need a mobile scanner or PC scanner or Translation scanner?
    1. mobile scanners have a screen and store text in the pen for download to a PC when convenient.
    2. PC scanners MUST be connected to a PC - they scan text direct to your docuement. They do not text in the pen.
    3. Translation scanners scan in one language and translate into another language
    4. Mobile Scanners store text scanned for download later to a PC. PC Scanners do not store text and must be attached to PC whilst in use. Translation scanners scan in one language and allow translation to another language.
  2. Will you need to scan text / small images OR whole pages / large images ?
    1. Choose either a line OR page mobile scanner
  3. Will you use it with a Mac?
  4. Check the features in the table.
