If I DO NOT buy J Notes with my new C-Pen, how do I install it?

If you intend to buy C-Pen with J Notes pre installed this FAQ is not for you. Go back to J Notes Home.

J Notes consists of two modules. The Windows Application & C-Pen Modules. The Windows Applications displays the notes made with the C-Pen J Notes module and allows you to save them as text or graphic files (gif files).

Windows Application Module installation

1. Buy J Notes and download the J Notes sofware.
2. Advise DataMind of your C-Pen serial number.
3. Run the setup.exe program to install the Windows Application module.

C-Pen module installation

1. Open the J Notes Windws Application (Start, Programs, J Notes)
2. Go to Help, Install C-Pen module and follow the instructions.
3. After installation you will see the J Notes icon on the C-Pen.
